BABA’S Kurma Mix is a fragrant blend of spices specially prepared for making traditional Malaysian kurma curry. Made with coriander, cumin, fennel, cinnamon, cardamom and other aromatic spices, it produces a rich, flavourful curry that’s milder than regular Malaysian curry.
Perfect for preparing Ayam Masak Kurma (Malaysian Kurma Chicken Curry), Kurma Daging (Beef Kurma) or a delicious vegetable kurma with potatoes and carrots.
For a traditional Malaysian chicken kurma, cook the spice mix with onions, garlic, ginger and curry leaves, then add chicken, potatoes and coconut milk or milk. The result is a creamy, aromatic curry that goes beautifully with nasi minyak, nasi tomato, roti or steamed rice.
